[ upon finding out that one ( 1 ) bruce banner was stuck as a man with the hulk simmering at the surface just because he tried to emulate the formula that allowed her (ha her, not a him like everyone really wanted) to become america's supersoldier, captain america, stephanie found herself feeling a mountain of guilt that came close to the same level of guilt she felt over bucky's death.

her mind knows it's not really her fault, but her heart and general good soul feels like it is. she had meant to talk to him as he was leaving after he would have found the tesseract but there never was a good time, and well, then manhattan was nearly destroyed and there was sharawma. so now here she is, stuck texting him on a phone she's still not entirely sure that she's using right (but hey she's come a rather long way regardless). ]
